What is the Syneron Emax Matrix IR?

The Syneron Emax Matrix IR handpiece utilizes the combination of bi-polar radio frequency (RF), diode (915 nm wavelength) laser and intense epidermal cooling to dramatically improve the texture of the skin. This handpiece is used primarily for smoothing out mild to moderate wrinkles on the face, chin, and neck.

How does Syneron Emax Matrix IR Work?

The science behind the Syneron Emax Matrix IR handpiece is simple. It stimulates the body’s natural regeneration process in order to smooth out wrinkles. During the procedure, the handpiece makes use of laser and RF to heat up the deeper layers of the skin. Simultaneously, its intense epidermal cooling protects the skin surface by maintaining a safe temperature while ensuring a high level of treatment efficacy. To ensure maximum heating and absorption, the microbeams are delivered in a matrix thermal pattern. This stimulates collagen production within the target tissue resulting in enhanced skin cell renewal. Over time, old skin cells causing the wrinkles are replaced with new healthy cells.
