Replacement interval: plan on a fresh cartridge every 6 to 12 months.
What the cartridge does in an Accent
The internal cooling loop keeps critical components at a stable temperature. As water circulates it picks up minerals, and the resin in the DI cartridge pulls them back out. Clean, low-conductivity water means fewer deposits inside the system and steadier cooling performance. Once the resin is exhausted it stops doing that job, so regular replacement is cheap insurance against bigger service bills.
