Parts warranty

The Laser Professionals stands behind the parts we sell. This page explains what's covered, for how long, and how to make a claim.

Our limited warranty

  • Select parts carry a limited warranty of 90 days to 6 months against defects in materials and workmanship. The term for each part is shown on its product listing.
  • The warranty period starts on the delivery date.
  • The warranty is valid only if a qualified laser service technician installs the part. We may ask for the technician's name, company and installation date when you file a claim.
  • Parts whose listing shows no warranty term are covered for dead on arrival only, as described below.

Dead on arrival (DOA) coverage

Every new part we sell is guaranteed to work when it arrives. If a part doesn't work when first installed, report it within 5 business days of delivery. We'll issue an RMA and email you a prepaid return label, and we'll replace the part, or refund it if no replacement is available. Items sold as-is and clearance items aren't covered.

Flashlamps and lamps

Flashlamps and lamps wear with every shot, and their life depends heavily on the system, settings and cooling. They carry a limited warranty based on pulse count or time, whichever comes first:

  • Pulse count: the term depends on the lamp. Candela lamps are covered for 250,000 pulses, and handpiece lamps start at 30,000 pulses. The exact pulse count for each lamp is shown on its product listing.
  • Time: 90 days from the delivery date.

Coverage ends when the lamp reaches its warranted pulse count or 90 days after delivery, whichever happens first.

Consumables

Consumables are guaranteed to arrive in working condition. If a consumable is defective on arrival, we'll replace it. Replacement is the only remedy for consumables, and normal use and wear aren't covered.

What isn't covered

This warranty doesn't cover:

  • Installation by anyone other than a qualified laser service technician, or improper installation
  • Misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, or use outside the manufacturer's specifications
  • Modification or alteration of the part or the system it's installed in
  • Repair, service or disassembly by a third party not authorized by us
  • Normal wear and tear, including lamp aging beyond the lamp's warranty term (pulse count or 90 days, whichever comes first) and consumable depletion
  • Damage caused by the laser system itself, such as power supply, cooling, water quality or contamination problems
  • Damage from shipping (handled as a shipping claim; see our Shipping Policy), power surges, fire, water, or other events outside our control
  • Parts with altered, removed or unreadable serial numbers or labels
  • Items sold as-is, which have no warranty and no dead-on-arrival coverage
  • Clearance items, which have no warranty and no dead-on-arrival coverage

What we'll do

If a covered part fails during its warranty period, we'll repair it, replace it, or issue a credit, at our choice. Replacement parts may be new or used. They're always tested and confirmed working, and are covered for the rest of the original warranty period.

The warranty doesn't cover labor, technician or travel fees, removal or reinstallation, system downtime, lost revenue or profits, or any other indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability will never be more than the price you paid for the part.

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Email [email protected] (or call +1 (561) 203-9776 with questions) before the warranty period ends. Include your order number, the part, the laser system model and serial number, the installing technician's name and the installation date, and a description of the problem with photos or video and any error codes.
  2. We'll review your claim and, if a return is needed, issue an RMA number by email, within 1–5 business days. Please don't send parts back without an RMA.
  3. Ship the part back with the RMA number written on the outside of the box, in protective packaging, to: The Laser Professionals, 3569 91st St N, Suite 2, West Palm Beach, FL 33403. You pay to send it to us, except for a dead-on-arrival part reported within 5 business days of delivery, which comes back on the prepaid label we send you. We pay standard shipping to send the repaired or replacement part back to you. We don't pay for expedited shipping; if you want it expedited, you pay the difference.
  4. We'll inspect the part within 2–3 business days of receiving it. If it isn't defective, or the failure isn't covered, we'll return it at your cost or dispose of it at your request.
  5. Advance replacement: in urgent cases, we can send a replacement before your defective part arrives, for a fee. The fee depends on your location, timing and the size of the part, so we quote it case by case. Ask about advance replacement when you file your claim.

Other terms

This warranty is the only warranty we give on the parts we sell. It replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows. No employee or agent can change it except in writing. Original-manufacturer (OEM) warranties don't apply to aftermarket parts. This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions, which are governed by Florida law.
