Check fitment with us →This is a new alexandrite laser rod for the 755 nm laser head of the Cutera Excel HR. A worn, chipped or cracked rod lowers energy output and can stop treatments altogether.
Each rod ships in its own protective clear case, as shown. Installation and alignment by a qualified technician are recommended. Alexandrite contains beryllium oxide, so the rod must not be ground, cut or polished outside a controlled setting.
