The cavity (pump chamber) houses the 755 nm alexandrite rod and flashlamps; when it is worn, contaminated or leaking, you will typically see falling output energy, difficulty reaching treatment fluences, or lamp and cooling faults. Replacing the cavity assembly restores pump-chamber performance and gets the system back to treating patients without waiting on a factory head rebuild.
